Enable the Odoo Chatter Edit Delete Restriction module from Apps. Once installed, administrators can manage chatter access control for editing and deleting chatter messages. Navigate to Settings → Users, select a user, and configure edit delete access control to allow or restrict permissions.

Based on this configuration, the system will automatically hide edit/delete chatter actions for restricted users. This helps improve backend chatter control, maintain message integrity, prevent unauthorized modification, and preserve accurate audit logs across business documents while ensuring secure communication handling.

1. As you can see that each user can edit and delete the message.

2. setting -> user Select a User and scroll down you can see this option after you have active a chatter_restrict_edit_delete module.

3. When a user is restricted, they will no longer have access to the 'Edit' or 'Delete' options in the chatter.
