- Monthly Limit – Total leave taken within a month is tracked and controlled by the system. Employees cannot exceed the maximum number of days defined for that month.

Complete Workflow for Employee Maximum Leave Alert Odoo App
Configure the Maximum Leave Type from Time Off → Configuration to define leave limits based on day-wise (continuous) or monthly rules. Open a Leave Request and apply leave as usual, where the system will automatically validate the request according to the selected Maximum Leave Type. If the applied leave exceeds the defined limits, it will be restricted instantly. This validation works when allocation is disabled, ensuring proper control and tracking of employee leave.
1. Negative leave days are not allowed—you can only set a positive value for the maximum leave days.
2. Set the Maximum Leave Type to Day, define the maximum number of days allowed, and ensure allocation is disabled.
3. An error will be displayed if the applied leave days exceed the configured maximum limit.
4. Shows validation for continuous leave restriction, including total continuous days, allowed limit, and exceeded days.
5.Configuration screen where the admin sets the Maximum Leave Type to Month and defines the maximum number of leave days allowed per month when allocation is disabled.
6. Prevents leave request when applied days exceed maximum allowed monthly limit.
7. Shows detailed validation message with applied days, remaining balance, and restriction when monthly limit is exceeded.
8. Displays alert when employee has already used full monthly leave limit and cannot apply for more days.
